Seltech Environmental

Providing a comprehensive range of LEV testing, Seltech Environmental is independent of all equipment manufacturers and ventilation contractors, and hence can guarantee the integrity of testing results and advice supplied.

All tests are carried out to conform to The COSHH Regulations - Regulation 9 "Thorough Examination and Test".

The following range of tests may be performed:

      • Static Pressure
      • Transport Velocities and Volume Flows
      • Face Velocities
      • Other tests as appropriate and required by The Regulations

All testing is carefully scheduled in agreement with customers to ensure that COSHH obligations are met, and on completion a professional report is supplied to confirm that testing has been completed and detailed results and recommendations included.

All airflow instruments are calibrated annually.

Seltech retain hard and computer disc copies of each report to facilitate the ongoing surveys as required by The Regulations.

Seltech also offer an extract ventilation design and redesign service.

Instrumentation

High quality and accuracy are essentials for testing to COSHH standards. Seltech Environmental uses only quality measuring equipment, regularly calibrated to ensure ongoing accuracy.

Most of the equipment used is made by Airflow Developments Limited, (http://www.airflow.co.uk/) who also carry out regular calibration. Some of the many instruments used are shown here.

PVM 100

The Airflow PVM100 Micromanometer represents the latest microprocessor technology can offer.

AirFlow TA 2 Anemometer Airflow's TA2 ranges of thermal anemometers are precision-made from high quality materials. They give instant direct readings of air velocity and temperature on clear analogue scales. The average temperature response time is 10 seconds. The slim telescopic probe is ideal for measuring at grilles and diffusers, in narrow air-ways and in ducted systems.

Calibrated to an Internationally recognised standard the TA2's are supplied with a FREE TRACEABLE CERTIFICATE OF CALIBRATION.

AirFlow LCA 6000 The LCA range of hand held rotating vane anemometers offers a superb choice of models featuring automatic averaging of air velocity through to direct readings of volume flow rate, even in hazardous areas.
